AWARDED ACCREDITATION BY THE OREGON ACCREDITATION ALLIANCE, SEPTEMBER 2022.

The Boardman Police Department is responsible for all law enforcement activities within the City of Boardman.  Our department consists of Chief of Police, Captain, Lieutenant, Sergeant, Criminal Detective, Narcotics Detective, School Resource Officer, Sworn Officers, non-sworn and reserve officers.  

The entire staff has responsibility for Public Relations assignments to include:

  • Child Fingerprint Program
  • Child Safe Gun Lock Program
  • Home Security Evaluations
  • Neighborhood Watch
  • Public Talks
  • Vacation Home Checks
  • Participates with the Morrow County Sheriff Bicycle Safety & Helmet Giveaway 

BPD has a full time Detective assigned to Blue Mountain Narcotics Enforcement Team (B.E.N.T.)

Administrative duties are handled by the Chief of Police and the Captain. 

We are a 24-hour, seven day a week, full-service department. The patrol staff is responsible for Criminal Investigations, Traffic Enforcement and Security Patrols.
